Picture From Christmas Morning

Christmas dawned crisp and cold in Frankford, Ontario, the morning temperature dipping to a bone-chilling -23c. The trees still bore a heavy coating of ice from the ice storm of the previous 2 days. Deadly on the road, but beautiful for the eye to behold.

I confess I didn't take many pictures during the ice storm as I stayed inside and kept myself out of trouble. No falling on the ice for me this year.

An Ice Storm To Mark The Beginning Of Winter

Quinte West is being subjected to a nasty ice storm which is expected to last up to 48 hours. Here are some pictures I took this morning.

This last picture was taken through a plastic film, glass and a screen but otherwise has not been altered to obtain such a striking view of the ice accretion.

Over the fall, my knee has healed up nicely. I no longer have need of my cane to get around. I am actually thriving at the moment. I played a repeat gig at the Lions Club Christmas party in Frankford Ontario earlier in December.

My new sound was popular with the group and I had a lot of fun.

2013 took me to Italy on a grand adventure which I will remember fondly. I am looking forward to 2014 and whatever awaits me!
