Hogtown still growing

I visited Toronto this past week and the part I was in was under construction. Out with the old, in with the new, I suppose. The west side of Union Station is getting a face lift or cleaning and was hidden behind a partition. Front Street was tore up and workmen were busily digging up earth and wielding shovels and assorted other work implements. It was quite a corridor that the pedestrians had to negotiate just to get across the street.

I stayed at the Sheraton Hotel which was just across the street from City Hall.

I also took this picture of old City Hall.

I was glad to be back in Trenton. It moves at my speed.

I just read in the paper that Trenton Air Base will soon be host to 17 new Hercules C130J's. This is in addition to the 4 C-17's already here and a handful of C130 Hercules. Good thing I like aircraft because if I thought it was noisy before, it will be busier than ever.

Here's a picture I took while sitting on my deck recently.

And so it goes.
