Deja-Vu, sort of

Sorry it's been a while since I posted but I got sick after I returned from Abbotsford, a nasty cold that took almost two weeks to leave my system.

First thing I did when the ice went out was go looking for the water birds down on the Trent River and I found them in the same spot as before winter got started. I fed the gulls the french fries left over from my lunch. The geese and swan weren't very interested and I guess they don't care for fries. But gulls, gulls will eat almost anything, I have discovered. I watched a man feed them an apple that he cut up and tossed at them. They were probably surprised at the taste, but gobbled the pieces up regardless.

It has been a cold spring around here but the sun is shining and forecast to do so for another five days or so and I can live with that.

I will be having dental surgery on March 29th so I might not post again for a couple of weeks. As soon as I am able, I'll be back to tell you all about it.

This is a short post and I thank you for stopping by to read it.
